Commercial Concrete Floor Coating
Options to Consider

  • A popular choice for a commercial floor is using a solid color commercial-grade epoxy with a durable and chemical-resistant urethane top coat.
  • Fine or medium sized aggregate can be added to the coating for texture and slip-resistance.
  • Custom colors and flake options can be used to tie in your company or school colors into the floor.
  • We can fill saw joints in your concrete floor to give you a seamless floor. Ask us more about when we recommend this option.
  • Pair this project with any of our other painting services. When done as a package you can save money on the project!

How do our commercial concrete floor coatings compare to other options, and what is the cost?

A budget option to consider is what’s called a grind and seal, where we prep the concrete and apply a clear coat.

This option costs typically between $1-$2 a sq. ft.

  • This lower-cost option provides an easier to clean surface than bare concrete.
  • Imperfections and discoloration within the concrete will still be visible.
  • For large warehouses, this may be a good fit and more cost-effective than a full epoxy system.

A better option includes a primer and commercial-grade epoxy top coat.

This option costs typically between $3-$4 a sq. ft.

  • This mid-grade commercial epoxy floor comes in standard colors.
  • These floors are easy to clean and offer some chemical resistance.
  • These are a great fit for auto shops, hangars, storage facilities, and other commercial spaces needing a cost-effective solid color floor coating.

A premium commercial floor includes a primer coat, 100% solids body coat, and a urethane top coat.

This option costs typically between $5-$8 a sq. ft.

  • This premium commercial floor offers the best in overall performance and durability.
  • The urethane top coat improves the floor's hardness and chemical resistance.
  • These are a great fit for commercial kitchens, showrooms, and other high-traffic spaces.

The base coat resin is 2x stronger than the concrete below it. We use the highest quality decorative flakes available on the market, with outstanding colors and sizes available. The top coat we use is superior quality, proven to be UV stable, easy to clean, resistant to chemicals and scratches, and flexible, making it impervious to chips. Lastly, concrete coatings done by Spray ‘n Coat Painting are 2x thicker than many of our competitors in the Treasure Valley. Thickness = longevity!
